The Federal Trade Commission’s social media guidance highlights how online platforms play a major role in commerce—and how they must be transparent, fair, and protect consumers. The FTC monitors social media for issues like deceptive advertising, scams, and misuse of personal data, applying the same rules that govern traditional business practices. 

A new comedy series inspired by the classic Young Frankenstein is coming to FX, with Zach Galifianakis set to star in Very Young Frankenstein. The show comes from a powerhouse creative team including Taika Waititi and writer Stefani Robinson, with original filmmaker Mel Brooks also involved as an executive producer.

Police say the driver and passengers had to escape the truck and abandon it, before rescue crews pulled it out of Grapevine Lake.

The park is open for the holiday weekend, showing off its new attraction, a 1,000‑foot lazy river called “Lost River Adventure.” The jungle-themed experience is designed to immerse guests as they float through themed sights and sounds, marking one of the park’s largest expansions in years. 

A Fresno car club is giving back to local veterans, as Hot Rods Fresno raised thousands of dollars for the Central Valley Honor Flight through its annual car show. The nonprofit Honor Flight program provides free trips for veterans to Washington, D.C. so they can visit memorials honoring their service and sacrifice.
